Ken Niles rides the ski lift on the beginner hill at Brian Head Resort in Brian Head, Utah.
The beginner's chair lift at Brian Head Resort is surrounded by luxury homes and condos. The resort offers night skiing until late in the season, and this was the last night it was offered for the 2008-2009 season.

yay skiing! I like how you massively involved the environment in these photos- while i like the picture of ken on the ski lift from behind it would have been better if maybe you were in front of ken. but overall its nice- good job.
ReplyDeleteI like the color of the images. It looks like they are sepia or toned. It looks like you went to a beautiful place for spring break.
ReplyDeleteI really like the hue in these pictures - very calm and mellow. It looks like a great day of skiing is coming to an end. Awesome angle in the second photo.
ReplyDeletei really like the antique-like color and lighting of these, aimee. very stunning! these turned out very beautiful.
ReplyDeletethe composition on the second one is really cool--the chair just kinda floats across the page, framing the resort (?).
nice images!
i like the top one the best. it's very serene. i guess the bottom one doesn't do much for me, i think it's because not much is really going on in it.
ReplyDeletebeautiful! just like you ;) i enjoy the first shot the best because it's from a perspective only another skiier/boarder would really see....also, i might like the second one more if the building and the chair weren't aligned so much. i hope you had a great time!!!
ReplyDeleteummmm super jealous right now... i agree with cassie... cool perspectives on the chair. they just feel very calm and serene just enjoying a day on the slopes. i like the first one a lot.
